STOP EATING LIKE A BIRD
Building a lean, powerful, muscular physique is a GREAT goal to have, but it becomes incredibly difficult to obtain if you are unwilling to give up being super lean for a period of time to actually BUILD the muscle required to have this look in the first place.
I’ve had a lot of success building a lot of muscle to my frame by being willing to do that- even if it means being a little uncomfortable or I didn’t like how I looked as much for some time.
This is especially true if you are choosing to stay drug free in your process.
Prime example:
I would have never gotten to the physique on the right, without spending considerable amount of time at the physique on the left! 👇
The pic on the left —I was still crushing my protein intake, eating 90% “clean” foods (not dirty bulking) and training+cardio. Only difference was I was in a planned, controlled calorie surplus to help me get up to 220+ lb, build muscle and crush PRs in powerlifting. That’s IT.
On the right I was dieted down to about 198lb over a year later coming off some bodybuilding shows.
Moral of the story:
If you wanna actually have a legit impressive physique the next time you cut down- there has to be some time spent actually BUILDING your physique.
And you don’t get this by eating like a bird, trying to stay super lean all the time.
